SAPS Criminal Record Center Still Behind

Just a quick update on the previous post. It appears the Easter holidays and other public holidays in South Africa are definitely taking its toll on service delivery in our country. The issue of Police Clearance Certificates are further delayed, causing people to wait up to 10 weeks for the certificates to be issued.

If you are going to need a police clearance from South Africa anytime in the next three months, I would strongly advise you to apply as soon as possible to avoid having to move the dates of your applications at the Embassies forward.

Just for interest sake, if you want to know why the embassies require the police clearance certificate, you can read an explanation at Suite 101.

Obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate from South Africa is basically a simple process. The CRC in Pretoria is very effective and reliable. The biggest obstacle like with most government departments are that they are understaffed which creates a problem with follow ups. It is virtually impossible to make any contact other than a personal visit. http://www.gmtm.co.za/policeclearancecertificate.html

It is therefore wise if you need a Personal Police Clearance Certificate from South Africa to make use of a service provider who can log and follow up your applications on a regular basis by visiting the Criminal Record Centre http://www.gmtm.co.za/policeclearancecertificate.html

The documents needed are a full set of fingerprints and identification. These documents are handed in at the CRC in Pretoria South Africa.

You are more than welcome to visit our website for more information.
